1. Why should I use HundredKResume?
HundredKResume enables you to send your resume directly to targeted executive search firms and recruiters that specialize in placing senior-level professionals. These recruiters frequently hold the keys to the "hidden" job market because they place candidates in positions that aren't always advertised in newspaper ads and traditional job boards.
2. What results can I expect?
Your results will depend mostly on how well you match the qualifications, salary, and location requirements, for the positions the recruiters are currently working on. Recruiters will typically respond right away to the candidates that fit one of their current search assignments, and will add to their database all other candidates for later search assignments. Since the average recruiter works on 8 to 10 new search assignments per week, when your resume is distributed to 1000 recruiters you are getting exposed to between 8000 to 10,000 jobs.
3. Can and should I write a cover letter?
Yes. You will be asked to provide a cover letter when you register to distribute your resume. We highly recommend you to write a well-composed letter that is specific to the position you are seeking, providing a summary of your experience and qualification, and why you are a good fit for the role you seek. Your cover letter will appear before your resume in the 'body' of the email message sent to recruiters. Should you choose not to include your own cover letter, the system will automatically send the generic cover letter it provides.
4. Will I receive a confirmation letter once my resume has been sent?
Yes. You will receive a number of emails from HundredKResume. Once you have completed placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation. When your resume has been reviewed by one of our staff (within 24 business hours), it will be sent to recruiters. You will recieve a second email confirming that your resume has been sent out.
5. Where does my resume appear to be coming from?
Your resume will be sent as text in the body of an email message to each recruiter from HundredKResume. However, your email address will appear within the email message, unless you subscribe to use the anonymous electronic mailbox service we provide. If you choose to have an anonymous email assigned to you, an assigned email address (e.g., box2392@hundredkresume.com) will appear in place of your email address.
6. Can I provide a WORD or RTF format of my resume?
No. At this time, we will only send your resume as TEXT embedded within the 'body' of the resume. If a recruiter is interested in receiving a WORD or RTF format of your resume, they will be able to email you directly to request for a copy.
7. How important is the Subject Line of the email sent to recruiters?
Very important. During the registration process, you will be asked to choose a Job Title which will appear as the subject line of your email message to Recruiters. Since the subject line is the first thing a Recruiter will see, you should make sure you select a Job Title that describes the position or job function you are seeking.
8. Can I get a list of Recruiters my resume was sent to?
Yes. For an additional $15.00 we will provide you with a list of those Recruiters to whom your resume was sent to. If available, we will also provide you with the website address of the Recruiter.
9. Can I see what was sent to recruiters?
Yes. After your resume is successfully sent to your selected group of Recruiters you will receive an email that will be a copy of the e-mail message sent to Recruiters. This e-mail message will appear as though it was sent to the e-mail address you provided during the registration process, or to your anonymous email address provided by HundredKResume (if you choose to use the Confidential Email feature).
10. Are there Recruiters who do International placements?
Yes. Many of the Recruiters do International placements.
11. I'm not relocateable, are there Recruiters in my area?
Yes. HundredKResume can focus your resume distribution only to Recruiters that recruit for position in the state you live in. If you select to limit your distribution to a specific State, your recruiter count will be less than most, but it will be extremely targeted to your needs! Since many recruiters work a large geographic market, you may want to choose neighboring States as well.
12. Can I target my resume delivery by Location, Industry or Function?
Yes. HundredKResume allows you to choose to target the delivery of your Resume to Recruiters that recruit from over 60 Job Function categories, over 60 Industry categories, U.S. and Canadian Locations, as well as International Placements.
13. What other types of services do you offer?
We offer three additional services in addition to the Standard Resume Distribution, which costs $49.95:

(1) Confidential Email $20.00: Maintain confidentiality by creating a confidential email@hundredkresume.com to handle responses. Recruiters will not see your regular email address, and all responses will be automatically forwarded to your existing e-mail account.

(2) 30-DAY Re-Distribution $15.00: New Recruiters are added daily. Maximize your exposure by redistributing your resume in 30 Days. Use this feature and save off our normal price!

14. What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards including Master, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accept other forms of payment.
15. If I have more questions, how do I ask?
